Daily maintenance items

1. Waste ink tank

DTF printers need ink for printing, and waste ink will also appear during the printing process. At this time, the waste ink cartridges must be cleaned up in time.

2. Ink cartridge inlet tube

If air enters, it will cause the DTF ink to agglomerate and cause the ink to be uneven. At this time, please clean the ink tube of the ink cartridge.

3. Ink inlet tube

Before starting production, be sure to check whether the print head is in good condition. If the print head has sporadic disconnection, please clean it, otherwise the printed product will not achieve the expected effect.

 

Check and maintain items every two weeks

1. Oiling the belt

It is recommended to put some grease on the belt. At the belt positions at both ends of the printer, grease can be used to pass through the belt to transfer it to the running-in position of the gear and the belt.

2. Ink stack cleaning

First move the trolley out of the ink stack, and then turn on the test function of the ink pump. At this time, slowly pour the prepared water into the ink stack for cleaning. If there is a relatively dirty ink stack, you can use a wiper to clean it, or you can use a wet wipe or a white cloth dipped in water or cleaning fluid to wipe it.

 

Check and maintain items every three months

Raster cleaning

Under normal circumstances, the grating is checked and cleaned every three months. When cleaning, you can use a white cloth dipped in alcohol and wipe it before cleaning. And if the environment is poor, it is recommended to clean up once a month or even less.

 

Annual inspection items

Power check

Check whether the power cord and socket are aging. If aging occurs, it must be replaced in time.

 

The above periodic inspection and maintenance are aimed at the digital printing machine in normal working condition. When the equipment is not working for a long time, such as one month without work, it is recommended to perform nozzle cleaning work every two weeks; if it is not working for three months or longer, it is recommended to empty the ink circuit, remove the print head for cleaning and store it separately.

The specific operation is still based on actual use.

 

DTF printer holiday maintenance:

 

Not use for 1-3 days (short-term)

1. Print a test strip to check to ensure that the print head is in normal condition. If there is any abnormality, clean and recover (the print head does not need to be removed from the device);

2. Keep the surface of the nozzle clean (if there is ink or other dirt, you can use a non-woven cloth or an ink wiper to wipe it clean);

3. The ink stack is kept moist to ensure that the ink stack and the nozzle are sealed when shutting down and shut down normally.

 

Not used for more than 3 days (long-term)

1. Print a test strip to check to ensure that the print head is in normal condition. If there is any abnormality, clean and recover (the print head does not need to be removed from the device);

2. Drain the ink inside the print head;

3. Wash the print head with cleaning fluid and drain the cleaning fluid;

4. Use a clean wipe on the surface of the nozzle to wipe it clean with a non-woven cloth or ink wiper;

5. Hold the two ink tubes under the ink stack cap with clips, and drop some special cleaning liquid into the ink stack cap to ensure that the surface of the nozzle is wet and not dry;

6. For some non-ink stack machines, soak the non-woven fabric with cleaning fluid to wrap the print head, and then use plastic wrap or other materials to fix and seal the non-woven fabric and print head for storage;

7. It is recommended that the nozzles should be disassembled and stored with moisturizing liquid when the machine is shut down for a long time, and then put the nozzles filled with moisturizing liquid on the folded non-woven fabric, and pour the moisturizing liquid on the non-woven fabric of the nozzle, and it must be sufficient Wetting to ensure that the surface of the nozzle and the non-woven fabric can be fully immersed in the moisturizing liquid (the moisturizing liquid should not be poured too much, just ensure that the surface of the nozzle is just wetted).
