In daily operation, sometimes encounter digital printer printing out of the pattern color shades, stripes, and color imbalance, that's why? What should be done to solve it?

Printhead/nozzle problems

1. The printer nozzle ink injection discontinuity will lead to printing the picture appearing lines. In this case, first check the printhead status is normal. If the print is relatively normal, there is only a slight blockage, such as the lack of strokes or color, or high-resolution image blurring, then the printer should be used promptly with the nozzle cleaning program cleaning.

2. The printhead needs to be debugged. The operator needs to re-tune the printhead level and calibration, replace the curve, and replace the software, as appropriate, which can also enhance the print feathering effect.

3. The printhead carriage is not fixed tight (running with jitter). The printhead carriage carries the nozzle. If there are problems with the carriage, it will inevitably cause abnormal inkjet trajectories of the nozzle.

It should be noted that the printheads are the most important and precise part of the inkjet printer, the operator needs to pay attention to the maintenance, in the daily use of the printer in the process must avoid mechanical collision and vibration. The nozzles are very small, floating in the air dust can easily clog the nozzle, so daily attention must be paid to keep the environment clean. After frequent charging or cleaning nozzles if the printing effect is still very poor or the nozzle is still clogged, printing work is not smooth, then you should ask a professional to repair it, do not disassemble the nozzle, so as not to cause damage to precision parts. Be sure to pay attention to the daily maintenance of the inkjet printer, otherwise, it is easy to break the line, breakpoint, fuzzy, messy color, and a series of problems.

 

 

Ink supply system abnormality

1. Dark and light lines may be caused by ink breakage during the printing process. Operators need to pay attention to the printhead surface there is no ink dripping phenomena, if ink dripping occurs, the ink capsule may be leaking and must be replaced.

2. Check whether the ink path is blocked or the ink flow is not smooth. If there is a blockage, the printed color will be uneven, so make sure the nozzle is in good printing condition and the ink supply system will not be blocked.

3. Check the amount of ink in the ink tank/cartridges. If there is insufficient ink for a certain color, it may cause uneven colors.

4. The printer should not work in a high-temperature environment, because it is easy to rust the mechanical parts of the printer and the printhead. At the same time, the temperature difference in the working environment should not change too much. If the ambient temperature changes too fast, it will cause the thermal expansion of a large number of engineering plastic parts in the inkjet printer, resulting in wear and tear of mechanical parts. In addition, it may cause changes in the size of the fine nozzle aperture, affecting Print quality.

 

 

Hardware and software settings

1. Check the quality settings you have selected in the printer driver. Using a faster printing method may reduce the overall print quality.

2. There is resistance in the paper retracting and unwinding system. If the resistance of the paper retracting and unwinding system is too large, it will affect the paper feeding speed. If the paper feeding speed is inconsistent with the printing speed, it will cause the formation of dark and shallow lines, so make sure that the paper retracting and unwinding system is normal.

3. The stepper motor is not installed properly. The operation of the stepper motor controls the paper feeding speed. If the stepper motor is not installed in place, it will also cause abnormal paper feeding speed. The belt used by the stepper motor to drive paper cannot be too loose or too tight.

4. The servo motor is not installed in place. The servo motor controls the operation of the printhead carriage. If it is not installed in place, it will inevitably cause abnormal operation of the carriage and printing problems.

5. The pressure on the paper platen roller is too high. If the pressure of the machine's paper platen wheel is too high, the printing medium will be deformed and cannot be recovered in a short period of time. In this way, the height of the nozzle's inkjet height will be different during printing, and marks similar to those of the paper platen wheel will easily appear, resulting in dark and shallow channels. In this case In this case, just adjust the pressure of the paper pressure wheel.

 

 

Consumables quality problems

1. First make sure you select the correct media type setting in the printer driver that matches the paper loaded in the printer.

2. Check whether the consumables are stored for too long and moisture, or deterioration.

3. Uneven coating on the surface of the media and unbalanced ink absorption will result in dark and light lines. We recommend that you replace the consumables with better quality.

4. Confirm whether the ink used by the machine is original ink, and confirm whether the ink has expired (the shelf life of unopened ink is generally about one year, and the shelf life of opened ink is generally about three months).

There are many inks on the market, the first choice should be the original ink. Original inks are tested by the factory for a long time, the untested inks will be used for a long time will clog the printhead and other phenomena. If you want to buy compatibility inks, you should also try to choose high-quality compatibility inks. To make the nozzle better adapt to the new compatible ink, it is best to add the compatible ink for the first time after the original ink is completely used up, and spray out half of it continuously, then fill the ink cartridge and leave it for a day. In the future, a machine self-test must be performed before each use. If the self-test waveform test result is good, it means that the compatible ink can be used for a long time.
