Problems that will be encountered when using UV DTF printers in winter:

[A] Dry, easy to generate static electricity.

[B] With the drop in temperature, the material adhesion firmness and then weakened.

[C] Dry air in winter, if not carefully maintained, may cause the print nozzle to clog, printhead carriage abnormal (usually referred to as head bumping), serious, and even so the nozzle crack.

 

 

Winter UV DTF printer maintenance measures:

1. Boot warm-up is very important, every day when you turn on the UV DTF flatbed printer, do not immediately put it into use, it is best to let the machine warm up for 10-15 minutes.

2. Cold and dry in winter, will make the lubricating effect of the lubricant on the printer printhead carriage guide weakened, the carriage moves on the guide when the friction resistance increases, to check the lubricant in time.

3. If the UV DTF printer is not used for a long time, the UV ink should be extracted and the nozzle should be maintained with special cleaning fluid to keep the nozzle smooth. When the equipment stops working during the day, it is best to add a layer of black cloth on top of the equipment at night to avoid the entry of light and dust.

4. After the boot first do a white paper printing test, and test the use of printheads. If conditions permit, it is best to work in an air-conditioned environment, maintaining a room temperature between 22 to 25 degrees Celsius.

 

Other precautions:

1. The spray printing process is more static electricity, affecting the printing effect. Raise the room temperature and increase humidity.

A. PVC, acrylic, and other materials, print before using alcohol to clean the material and take away static electricity.

B. Clean and clean the printhead carriage base plate, and ion bar.

C. Check the ground line contact is good, 1.5 meters into the ground is more effective. Add the ground line and a bucket of high concentration of saltwater access to the ground line.

D. The printhead carriage base plate around the lint is clean and clean, machine dust is clean.

 

2. The ambient temperature decreases, adhesion decreases. You can raise the room temperature.

A. Check the water tank antifreeze enough.

B. UV lamp glass cleaned with alcohol.

C. The lamp power to adjust the larger.

D. Recommended on the coating to ensure fastness. Acrylic, crust board, aluminum composite board on the acrylic coating, metal, and glass on the metal coating.

 

 

Warm tips:

Winter indoor temperature is relatively low for users, UV DTF printers in use of the process will have floating ink, scattered ink, two-way line alignment, misalignment, and other phenomena. It is recommended to raise the indoor temperature 20-25 ℃, and humidity to 55-65 or so. Also note that the lifting screw, x-rail, y-rail, y-screw, clean up, even a small amount of lubricant or grease.
